Details about Giclee prints Our paper and canvas prints are offered as Giclee prints. Giclee printing is an advanced printmaking process of creating high quality fine art reproductions. The result is indistinguishable from the original piece of art work Giclee printing represents the highest standard of fine art printing available at this time. It utilises acid-free substrates (paper), pigment ink sets and specialist UV coatings/techniques. Giclee printing is a process that offers the highest possible quality in terms of lightfastness and colour reproduction. The pigment based inks used, combined with the method described result in the +/- 100 year lifespan under ideal display conditions. Our canvas prints are printed using pigment based inks on 100% cotton based canvas. They are coated using a water and UV resistant coating. All our canvas paintings are ready to hang on delivery (all you need is a nail on the wall!). Our paper prints are made onto 308 gsm acid free, 100% cotton archival quality media paper. These are not giclee prints as they do not have the UV coating, but the printing process and inks are the same as those used for the canvases. Giclee prints are available at an additional cost. Colour Colours of prints may vary slightly to what is displayed on the website due to Internet Users having different monitor settings, computer hardware, colour bits depth settings and millions of other reasons. However, the colour of your print will be exactly the intent of the artist.
Measurements All dimensions are given in Centimeters. unless stated otherwise.
Postage and Delivery I aim to dispatch your custom made canvas within 14 days of receiving your purchase order. For certain special orders, this may be up 21 days. I always look for the best value postage, whilst ensuring your order arrives safely, so it will arrive securely wrapped and will require a signature on delivery. Delivery is possible to clients in the UK, USA and Europe, but at present, the standard shipping costs are to the UK only. These costs are shown below, and will be clearly visible in PayPal before you checkout. Any orders to be despatched outside the UK are subject to variable postage costs, as it depends on the size of the items ordered as well as the destination. Please contact me for items to be shipped outside the UK. You can always call or email for an update on your delivery status by using the Contact form on the website.
