I was inspired at a very young age to explore and discover my creativity by my parents. My mother is an established fine artist who constantly provided an array of changing visual stimulus for my siblings and I to enjoy. I believe that it is thanks to these surroundings and due to some wonderful teachers in Art whilst at High School and during my years at College that my individual style and love of colour has come to the fore.
My husband Graeme has been a tremendous source of encouragement in developing bigblu designs for which I am forever grateful.
I have seen over recent years how powerful images and colour can be on the way we as humans feel and react to our environments. In my Art I aim to uplift the viewer and to share my unique way of seeing things around me.
